A networking session was held in downtown Coventry on the evening of July 29th.

The members gathered for dinner or drinks and informal discussions. This event provided a valuable opportunity to build intimate relationships.

Dinner with researchers from LG provided an opportunity to freely discuss the industry's perspective on battery development.

With HR team members also present, the event was valuable, especially for those considering employment after graduation, offering a consultation on career-related concerns.

Following the battery session, participants visited the Energy Innovation Centre at the University of Warwick, guided by Prof. Ivana Hasa.

The visit exhibits cutting-edge facilities for battery manufacturing, testing, and analysis. Attendees learned about sodium-ion battery materials in the pre-commercial stage and the latest lithium-ion battery research.

The participants were particularly impressed and found the tour inspiring and insightful, as such large-scale battery manufacturing facilities are rare in academic institutions.
