With the significance of battery research industries worldwide, including Germany and South Korea, has rapidly emerged in recent times.

On September 20, 2021, the K-DeBatt (Korea-Germany Battery) group was established by the Materials Division of the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in Germany.

It aims to promote collaboration between academia, industry, and research in the field of battery research, creating a platform for technical and research cooperation between the two countries.

Since its inception in 2021, K-DeBatt has been actively engaged in various initiatives and events.
